Kempton artist Jon Bond will present his “Stony Run Valley” exhibition from Feb. 2 to March 17 at the Walk In Art Center in Schuylkill Haven.
The exhibit in the main gallery will be open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 1 to 5 p.m.,
Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artist and learn the stories behind the paintings at a reception on Friday, Feb. 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be available.
The exhibition will feature more than 40 original works including egg tempera, oil, watercolor and ink. Finished works, along with studies and derivative compositions, capture images Bond has created over the past 60 years.
Exhibition visitors are encouraged to bring their smartphones and earbuds to enjoy a free audio tour.
Many items will be displayed for purchase. Gifts featuring reproductions of Bond’s art include zippered carryalls, puzzles, prints, postcards, greeting cards and more.
