Berks basketball roundup: Madyx Gruber leads Wilson to win over Harrisburg

Madyx Gruber scored 22 points to lead Wilson to a 59-50 boys basketball win over Harrisburg on Saturday.

Gruber had seven points and Luke Levan (9) had five in the first quarter as the Bulldogs (14-2) led 14-6 after one quarter.

Correll Akings added 12 points for the Bulldogs.

Wyomissing 67, Boyertown 49

Drew Latourelle scored 23 points to lead Wyomising over Boyertown 67-49 on Saturday.

Birkley Ziegler added 11 points for the Spartans (10-3).

Catasauqua 64, Kutztown 55

Franklin Pujols scored 17 points to lead Catasauqua to a 64-55 win over Kutztown.
