Berks boys basketball roundup: Antietam overcomes first quarter deficit to win

A.J. Scheifley scored 14 points as Antietam rallied to a 51-46 high school boys basketball victory over Fleetwood on Wednesday.

Mason Senna scored eight points as the Tigers raced to an 18-13 lead after the first quarter.

Julius Williams scored six points and Scheffley five in the second quarter as Antietam took a 28-26 halftime lead.

Kyle Vorse and Damean McKinney each scored four points as the Tigers tied the score at 38-all after three quarters.

In the fourth quarter, Antietam’s Josiah Maradey scored four points as Antietam outscored the Tigers 13-8 in the final period.

Williams finished with 11 points for Antietam. Senna had 17 for Fleetwood and Caden Ryan had 13.

Brandywine Heights 74, Oley Valley 47

Tommy Clark scored 26 points and Nate Winkler added 20 to lead Brandywine Heights to a 74-47 win over Oley Valley.

Leading 29-21 at halftime, the Bullets broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Lynx 23-14 in the third quarter, as Clark had 13 points.

For Oley, Benjamin DeBalko had 12 points.

Muhlenberg 40, Gov. Mifflin 38

Jayden Perez scored 15 points to lead Muhlenberg to a 40-38 win over Gov. Mifflin on Wednesday night.

Andrew Galantuomo had 11 points and Matt Koehler 10 for the Mustangs.

Eastern York 46, Wyomissing 37

Matthew Zerbe scored 11 points to lead Eastern York to a 46-37 non-league win over Wyomissing.

For the Spartans, Dom Arguilles scored 15 points and Birkley Ziegler had 12.
