Berks Catholic senior Caroline Reedy was named the Player of the Year and Schuylkill Valley’s Jason Bagenstose was selected Coach of the Year in a vote of the Berks Girls Basketball League coaches, the BCIAA announced Sunday.
Reedy is averaging 14.3 points per game for the Berks I champion Saints (19-5), who are the No. 3 seeds in the District 3 Class 4A playoffs.
She was joined on the All-Berks team by Fleetwood junior Alexis Hess, Gov. Mifflin junior Shakyla Mayo, Twin Valley senior Natali Foster, Reading High senior Kya Washington, Schuylkill Valley senior Madison Ziska and Wilson junior Isis Dojan.
Reedy and Hess are the lone repeat selections.
Bagenstose has guided the Panthers to a 20-2 record, the Berks III championship and the No. 4 seed in the District 3 Class 4A playoffs.
