Berks Catholic’s Danielle Hayward throws six-inning no-hitter in softball win over Fleetwood

Danielle Hayward threw a six-inning, no-hitter to lead Berks Catholic to 15-0 victory over Fleetwood in a non-league game Thursday at Fleetwood.

Hayward, a junior, struck out six and did not issue a walk. She also went 2-for-3 with an RBI and four runs.

Also for Berks Catholic (6-1), Rebecca Adams went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, Giana Mirenda 3-for-5 with three RBIs, Isabella Belville had a double and two RBIs, and Emily Schearer had a triple and two RBIs.

Fleetwood is 4-4.
