Berks girls volleyball roundup for Oct. 9

Wilson defeated Exeter 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 in a high school girls volleyball match on Wednesday.

For the Bulldogs, Keira Benner 20 kills and 10 digs, Aicha Kann had 5 kills and 7 blocks, and Ashlan Moyer had 16 digs and an ace.

For the Eagles, Taylor Mack had 12 kills, Jillian Warner had 12 kills and 6 digs, and Sami Baer had 9 digs.

Schuylkill Valley 3, Wyomissing 1

Schuylkill Valley defeated Wyomissing in four sets in girls volleyball on Wednesday.

The set scores were 25-15, 23-25, 25-7, 25-18.

For the Panthers, Paige Chase had 13 assists and 4 kills, Tara Hirschtritt had 13 assists, 3 digs, 8 aces and 4 kills, and Mary Johns had 7 kills, 10 aces and 2 digs.

Also for the Panthers, Rylee Kale had 3 aces, 7 kills and 3 digs, Hannah Yobb had 3 digs, and Riley Shober had 6 digs and 3 aces.

For the Spartans, Amaya Stewart had 6 kills and 2 blocks, Megan Prince had 11 assists, 3 digs and 2 aces, and Alaya Britt had 3 kills and 7 digs.
