Berks high school basketball roundup for Dec. 9: Scouts win close one

Gavin Rapp scored 19 points as Conrad Weiser downed Daniel Boone 63-61 in a boys basketball game on Monday.

Rapp scored 11 points in the second quarter as the Scouts led 32-29 at halftime.

Brandy McKee added 17 points for the Scouts (3-1), including six in the fourth quarter. He made 4 four three-pointers in the game.

Donovan Gingrich chipped in 11 points for Conrad Weiser.

For the Blazers (2-2), Brendan Gaines scored 23 points, making four three-point shots.
