Boys cross country
Exeter junior Slater Von Stetten finished first in 17:26 to lead the Eagles to wins over Hamburg, Fleetwood and Oley Valley in a quad meet that wrapped up a 7-0 record in Berks I and a 15-0 mark overall.
Girls cross country
Twin Valley senior Laura Posh finished first in 19:41 to lead the Raiders to wins over Daniel Boone, Kutztown and Muhlenberg in a quad meet.
Field hockey
Wyomissing junior Tierney Murrill scored two goals, including the tiebreaker in the fourth quarter, to lift the Spartans to a 2-1 win over Kutztown.
Football
Exeter senior Richie Karstien ran for 212 yards and four touchdowns on 32 carries to help the Eagles beat Hempfield 44-22 in a game between section leaders in the Lancaster-Lebanon League. He also caught two passes for 17 yards and recovered a Black Knights fumble.
Boys soccer
Muhlenberg senior Nico Santiago scored the game-winning goal in overtime in a 1-0 win over Conrad Weiser in the Berks quarterfinals to send the Muhls to the semifinals for the first time since 1996.
Girls soccer
Wyomissing sophomore Sophia Zeppos scored three goals and had one assist in the Spartans’ 7-0 win over Hamburg in the Berks quarterfinals.
Girls tennis
Hamburg sophomore Mia Gassert finished second for the second straight year in the District 3 Class 2A girls tennis singles tournament.
Girls volleyball
Brandywine Heights senior Ludovica Zaccaroni had three aces, two kills, 20 digs, 38 assists and two blocks to help lead the Bullets to a 3-2 win over Schuylkill Valley.
Boys water polo
Wilson senior Kagen Boettner scored six goals and had one assist to help lead the Bulldogs to a 18-8 win over Muhlenberg. Over the weekend, Boettner scored 12 goals and had six assists to help lead Wilson to a 3-0 record at the Erie Tournament.
Girls water polo
Wilson’s Bella Shannon made 17 saves in the Bulldogs’ 13-8 win over Muhlenberg. Shannon also made seven saves over the weekend to help Wilson go 3-0 at the Erie Tournament.
