Boys basketball
Oley Valley junior Ben DeBalko scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Lynx to a 72-44 win over Brandywine Heights. DeBalko also tied Antietam’s A.J. Scheifly with a game-high 15 points in Oley Valley’s 51-44 win over the Mounts.
Girls basketball
Berks Catholic junior Madison Langdon scored a career-high 27 points in a win over Muhlenberg before scoring eight in a loss to Wilson Central (Tenn.), 19 points in a loss to Madison Southern (Ky.) and 19 in a victory over St. Joseph’s Academy (Fla.) at the KSA Tournament in Orlando, Florida. She was named to the all-tournament team.
Boys bowling
Wilson senior John Giglio rolled the high series in the league so far this season, a 790 series, in a 3-0 win over Gov. Mifflin. He had games of 288, 235 and 267.
Girls bowling
Exeter sophomore Haley Schwenk rolled a 642 series in 3-0 win over Conrad Weiser.
Boys swimming
Gov. Mifflin junior Braden Weise won the 200 free (1:48.10) and 100 fly (53.35) and swam on the winning 200 free and 400 free relays in a 108-72 win over Schuylkill Valley, then won the 50 free (21.75) and 100 free (47.65) and swam on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays in a 95-88 win over Hempfield.
Girls swimming
Wilson sophomore Evelyn Quick won the 100 free (54.47) and 200 free (1:59.95) and swam on the winning 200 medley and 400 free relays in a 132-56 win over Manheim Township.
Wrestling
Berks Catholic sophomore Gunnar Maciejewski won all three of his matches by fall in less than a minute. In a 44-34 win over Wyomissing, he had a 23-second pin at 127 pounds; in a 42-21 victory over Trinity, he had a 32-second pin at 133; and in a 51-16 win over Roman Catholic he had a 51-second pin at 127.
