Boys basketball
Muhlenberg junior Shermar Killen scored a game-high 29 points to help lead the Muhls to an 87-74 win over Reading High. Killen also scored 10 points in Muhlenberg’s 69-34 loss against Berks Catholic and 26 points in the Muhls’ 71-68 loss against Pottstown.
Girls basketball
Wyomissing junior Amaya Stewart scored a career-high 30 points in the Spartans’ 57-12 win over Antietam before scoring the 1,000th point of her career in a 43-36 victory over Middletown.
Boys bowling
Hamburg senior Brayden Heckman rolled a 702 series to help lead the Hawks to a 3-0 win over Reading High.
Girls bowling
Daniel Boone senior Kristin Fitzcharles rolled a 663 series to help lead the Blazers to a 3-0 win over Twin Valley.
Boys swimming
Schuylkill Valley sophomore Owen Eisenhofer won the 200 IM in 1:59.00, the 100 back in 53.74 and swam in the Panthers’ 200 medley relay team that won in 1:43.86 as Schuylkill Valley was defeated by Exeter 91-89.
Girls swimming
Exeter junior Alexis Nonnemacher won the 200 in 2:04.59, the 100 fly in 1:04.82 as the Eagles defeated Schuylkill Valley 102-84. She was also on the Eagles’ 200 free relay team that won in 1:47.78 as well as the winning 400 free relay team that finished in 3:49.96.
Boys wrestling
Daniel Boone senior Tucker Hogan won the 189-title at the 2024 BCIAA Individual Wrestling Tournament for his third straight BCIAA gold medal.
Girls’ wrestling
Governor Mifflin sophomore Emily Yerger became the first-ever Outstanding Wrestler recipient at the inaugural BCIAA Girls’ Wrestling Championships by winning the 124-pound weight class with three consecutive pins.
