Evan Burcik scored two goals as Blue Mountain defeated Tulpehocken 2-1 in a high school boys soccer match on Friday.

Anthony Castaneda scored for the Trojans.

Field hockey

Kutztown 3, Tulpehocken 0

Kamryn Henry scored two goals to lead Kutztown to a 3-0 high school field hockey win over Tulpehocken on Friday.

Cloey Renner scored the other goal on an assist from Annaliese Horvath.

Kutztown goalie Jasmine Moyer made one save, and Tulpehocken goalie Kylie Snyder made seven saves.

Manheim Central 5, Daniel Boone 0

Ella Brubaker scored three goals as Manheim Central defeated Daniel Boone 5-0 on Friday.

For the Blazers, goalie Breanne Marchiano made 12 saves.

Wyomissing 6, Middletown 1

Lola Gentile scored three goals as Wyomissing defeated Middletown 6-1 on Friday.

Skylar Maggs, Ella Anders (1 assist) and Leiani Gonzalez also scored for the Spartans.

Siena Carlino had three assists.

Girls volleyball

Schuylkill Valley 3, Linville Hill 2

Schuylkill Valley defeated Linville Hill 3-2 in high school girls volleyball on Friday.

The set scores were 25-20, 23-25, 25-14, 27-29, 15-12.

For the Panthers, Paige Chase had 29 assists and 2 kills, Tara Hirschtritt had 21 assists, 6 digs, 2 blocks, 15 kills and 4 aces, and Rylee Kale had 4 kills and 19 digs.

Also, Hannah Yobb had 2 kills and 11 digs, Julia Lassandro had 15 kills, and Riley Shober had 9 digs.

Bishop McDevitt 3, Fleetwood 2

Bishop McDevitt defeated Fleetwood in five sets on Friday.

The set scores were 25-21, 22-25, 25-20, 24-26, 15-9.

For Fleetwood, Kathryn Nied had 23 assists, 5 kills, 8 digs and 3 aces, Emily Laucks had 11 kills and 9 digs, Kylie Hallman had 22 digs, and Paityn Sobjak had 13 digs and 2 aces.
