Berks lacrosse: Wilson boys win in overtime on Trey Marcinko’s goal

Trey Marcinko scored in overtime to lead Wilson to an 8-7 win over Owen J. Roberts on Thursday in boys lacrosse.

Also for the Bulldogs, Nolan Moyer, Luke Azzanesi and Carter Brensinger scored two goals and Cole Kaufmann added one.

Moyer, Azzanesi, Brensinger, Kaufmann and Beckett Redner each had assists.

Goalie Thatcher Swatchick made 7 saves.

Conrad Weiser 6, Pottsgrove 5

Beckam Sallade scored four goals as Conrad Weiser defeated Pottsgrove 6-5 in boys lacrosse on Thursday.

Also for the Scouts, Ben Heil had three assists.

Gov. Mifflin 14, Daniel Boone 6

Jace Esterly scored six goals and had two assists as Gov. Mifflin defeated Daniel Boone 14-6 in boys lacrosse on Thursday.

Also for the Mustangs, Jamison Newton (2 assists), Zach Franks (1 assist) and Ashley Rabold (1 assist) each had two goals. Derek Dinatale and Jake Troy had the other goals for Gov. Mifflin.

Goalie Allan Franco made 2 saves.

For the Blazers, Tiegan Richard had 2 goals and an assist, and Brandon Schutter had a goal and 2 assists. Goalie Liam Hedgepeth made 19 saves.

Girls

Bella Seidel scored six goals to lead Gov. Mifflin to a 17-1 win over Daniel Boone in girls lacrosse on Thursday.

Also for the Mustangs, Kate Hazlett scored five goals.
