Winning pitcher Brianna Bauscher struck out five and went 2 for 2 at the plate as Kutztown defeated Hamburg 5-2 in softball on Wednesday.
Bauscher gave up two earned runs and 8 hits.
For the Cougars, leadoff hitter Sadie Berger had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs, and Jade Fitzgerald went 3 for 4 with a double.
For the Hawks, Jenna Shuman hit a home run and had 2 RBI.

Peyton Trexler went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI as Fleetwood defeated Conrad Weiser 13-11 on Wednesday.
Trexler had a double and two singles.
