Bethany Children’s Home is thrilled to host its annual Summer Concert Series, with all proceeds dedicated to building a new outdoor recreational complex for the youth at Bethany.
The concert series will kick off on Friday, July 18, with Lovelace 70s Band. Following in the concert series is a performance from The Fabulous Greaseband on Saturday, Aug. 16. Ending the concert series with a bang is the Fall Fest with The Uptown Band on Sunday, Sept. 14.
All concerts are located on the Bethany Children’s Home campus at 200 Bethany Road, Womelsdorf. Join the organization for evenings of music, dancing, and concessions. Tickets are $15 per car and can be purchased at www.bethanyhome.org/2025events/ or in-person upon entry.
The outdoor recreational complex project aims to enhance the lives of the youth residing at Bethany by providing them with a safe and engaging space for outdoor activities. This complex will replace the old courts built in 1941, which are currently cracking and buckling. The construction will include brand-new basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts.
“Physical activity offers a variety of therapeutic benefits to our youth at Bethany. It provides them an outlet to blow off steam,” said Senior Director of Education and Clinical Services Brandy Radwanski. “Physical activity is such a beneficial coping skill our youth have readily accessible to them on campus. It supports our youth that are experiencing stress or anxiety and can help improve their overall mood and boost self-esteem.”
