Swimming at the Dry Brooks Day Use Area of Blue Marsh Lake is permitted again following several days of closure due to high bacteria levels, according to the Army Corps of Engineers, which operates the site.
According to a Saturday morning announcement by site managers, water testing results indicate the lake is safe for swimming. It had been closed to swimming since Monday due to high levels of e-coli bacteria.
