The Blue Mountain High School softball team received a hero’s welcome after winning the state Class 4A title.
The Eagles finished the season 25-3, taking home the state championship with a 3-2, come-from-behind win over Montour at State College. They also are this season’s PIAA District 11 Class 4A title winner.
Upon their return from the final game on June 15, the Eagles were greeted by a big crowd at the school and took part in an impromptu parade to celebrate their championship.
