Boyertown Area Multi-Service to host Spring Basket Extravaganza

BOYERTOWN – Boyertown Area Multi-Service invites the community to participate in the highly anticipated Spring Basket Extravaganza.

The fundraising event will be held at The Center at Spring Street, 200 West Spring St., Boyertown, from 4 to 8 p.m. on March 28.

“This exciting event is open to the public, with attendees able to purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win beautifully themed baskets donated by local businesses and generous individuals. All proceeds will support essential community programs that support community needs in the greater Boyertown area,” according to the release.

Basket winner drawings will be held at 8 p.m., winners do not need to be present to win. The cost to enter is $5 for a ticket to win two Philadelphia Flyer Tickets.

The Boyertown Area Multi-Service mission states: “To provide resources and services to meet unfulfilled human and community needs in the Greater Boyertown Area. Helping people and strengthening communities.”

The organization is reaching out to local businesses and individual donors to contribute by donating themed baskets, door prizes, or gift certificates.

“Your participation in this event will help us raise crucial funds for our programs and services, while also providing your business with the opportunity to gain visibility in the community,” states the release.

Donations will help support critical services and resources for those in need in the community, including Senior Center, case management, Meals on Wheels, Preston’s Pantry and youth programs at the Ricketts Center. Sponsor businesses will be featured in event promotions, social media campaigns, local media ads, and on the website.

A few popular basket themes include gift cards, wine and cheese, spa day packages, gourmet food baskets, tickets, and gift certificates for local businesses and events.
