Building a Better Boyertown is excited to welcome the return of spring with a community celebration unlike any other! On Saturday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., East Philadelphia Avenue will come alive with the vibrant energy of the Coming Out of Hibernation event. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will be rescheduled to Sunday, April 13, at the same time.

This free, family-friendly event promises a day of fun for all ages. The streets will be lined with local vendors, food trucks, live music, and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you’re looking to shop locally, sample delicious treats, or simply enjoy the lively atmosphere, this event has something for everyone.

Event Highlights:

Food: Satisfy your taste buds by visiting one of our many downtown restaurants or dine on a variety of delicious food from local food trucks.

Entertainment: Enjoy live music performances throughout the day by local musicians and DJ Steve Hartenstine of ESJAY Entertainment, bringing the sounds of spring to life!

Family fun schedule:

Spring-themed activities: Celebrate the season with special spring-themed crafts and games for the children and experiences perfect for the entire community.

Local art and craft vendors: Discover one-of-a-kind creations from local artisans, including handmade jewelry, wood crafts, boutique apparel, and more. Be sure to visit Little Entrepreneur Alley – handmade items by local students.

Other Event Details:

Location: East Philadelphia Avenue from the Reading Avenue intersection down to Franklin Street.

Parking: Free parking all day – the Borough of Boyertown has lifted all hourly parking restrictions during the event. Public parking is available in the Town Center East and West lots off South Reading Avenue. Additional parking is available behind Truist Bank and St. John’s Lutheran Church off North Reading Avenue. On-street parking is also available around town.
