The final Antietam Valley Farmers Market of the holiday season will be held tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Antietam Valley Recreation and Community Center at Carsonia Park, 905 Byram St., Pennside. Citizenship program
The Literacy Council of Reading-Berks will hold an open house for its Gateway to Citizenship program on Tuesday, Jan. 2. Sessions will be held at 9 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 435 Court St., Reading, and at 6:30 p.m. at the council office, 35 S. Dwight St., West Lawn.
The program is intended for lawful permanent residents (green card holders) planning to apply for U.S. citizenship. It includes civics and vocabulary lessons, information on what to expect the day of the citizenship test and assistance from immigration specialists.
Antique auto club
The Ontelaunee Region Antique Automobile Club meets Saturday, Jan. 6, at 3 p.m. at New Jerusalem Zion UCC Church, 1456 Krumsville Road, Greenwich Township. All are welcome.
