James Madison
Gabrielle Gieringer of Oley graduated with a master of physician assistant studies degree from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va.
Palmer Chiropractic
Rachael Moyer of Boyertown graduated with a doctor of chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Port Orange, Fla.
Research presentation
Alvernia University doctoral candidates Kathleen Murney, Wernersville; Jessica Whitmore, Douglassville; and Michelle Conway, Reading, presented collaborative research at the International Leadership Association Global Conference in Chicago.
Honor societies
• Taylor Mullin of Boyertown was elected to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi at Kutztown University.
• Hannah Medina, Blandon, was inducted into the Delphi Society at Cedar Crest College, Allentown, in recognition of outstanding academic achievements.
Fulbright scholar
Dr. Christina Kinney, director of the Office of International Education and Global Engagement at Kutztown University, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award in International Education to Taiwan from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
Kinney has been selected for the U.S.-Taiwan International Education Administrators Award. This two-week seminar aims to foster deeper connections and understanding between U.S. and Taiwanese higher education institutions. Kinney aims to further develop KU’s existing partnerships in Taiwan, expand opportunities for study-abroad programs and explore new avenues for faculty exchange and collaborative initiatives.
