Conrad Weiser is off to a 2-0 start to the high school football season after a convincing win on Thursday night.
The Scouts went on the road and won 31-7 at Elco.
Conrad Weiser scored on its opening drive when Dylan Parr caught a Donovan Gingrich pass for a 61-yard gain. Gingrich then connected with Evan Rittle on a four-yard pass for a touchdown and a 7-0 lead.
Gingrich made it 14-0 when he scored on a six-yard run in the second quarter.
Javien Rivera, who scored two touchdowns in the game, made it 21-0 in the second quarter on a five-yard run.
Alex Malone’s 32-yard field goal made it 24-0 at halftime.
Rivera added another five-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to make it 31-0.
Gingrich competed 9 of 12 passes for 127 yards and the touchdown pass to Rittle.
Rivera gained 82 yards on 11 carries.
Parr caught two passes for 66 yards and Rittle had three catches for 42 yards.
Conrad Weiser had 318 yards of total offense to 153 for Elco.
