“To be named the PIAA/NFHS High School Coach of the Year for 2025 is one of the highest honors of my tennis career. I am humbled and grateful that, of the hundreds of high school tennis coaches statewide, that I was selected as the PIAA State Coach of the Year for boys’ tennis. Fourteen years ago, we started a process of building a tennis program and culture at Conrad Weiser, in a place that was not considered, at that time, a tennis community. Throughout that time, we have used tennis to inspire a generation of Conrad Weiser athletes of all ages on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. This award is not just about me; it is a true a reflection of having one of the best coaching staffs in the state, amazing support from our school district and administration as well as a commitment to working with the USTA to give our players the best opportunities to be successful in all aspects of their lives on and off the court,” said Knarr.
