A crash involving up to 15 vehicles has shut down both directions of Interstate 78 in northwestern Berks County.
The crash occurred at about 9:15 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Township causing the interstate to be shutdown both ways between the Strausstown and Midway exits, according to emergency dispatches.
There were reports of injuries, a vehicle rollover and at least two tractor-trailers involved.
Heavy snowfall is causing hazardous conditions on area roads. PennDOT is urging motorists to avoid travel if possible.
