Fire crews from Berks, Montgomery and Lehigh counties have been called to a two-alarm barn fire near Kutztown.
The fire was discovered shortly before 8:15 a.m. on a farm at 701 Baldy Road in Maxatawny Township. The farm is about halfway between Kutztown and Lyons.
A large bloom of smoke was visible to responding crews. Tanker trucks were dispatched from numerous fire companies to haul water to the scene.
