Crews responded to a reported house fire Saturday morning in the 100 block of Fancy Hill Road in Amity Township.
The fire was called in shortly after 8 a.m. and firefighters arrived to find the attic was fully involved with flames through the roof, but everyone was out of the home, dispatchers said.
Roads in the area of the home were closed while firefighters worked at the scene, and extra manpower was called in, according to emergency reports.
By 8:45 the fire was declared under control. A second alarm was struck but fire chiefs on the scene cut short the response of those vehicles, saying they were not needed, according to emergency reports.
More details as they become available.
