Daniel Boone, Conrad Weiser and Brandywine Heights lost in penalty kicks in opening-round games of the District 3 boys soccer playoffs Tuesday.
In Class 3A, the 14th-seeded Blazers fell to third-seeded Susquehannock 4-2 in penalty kicks at Glen Rock after the teams tied 1-1 through regulation and two overtimes.
Chad Brown scored off an assist from Cam Henry for Boone (8-10-1), which was eliminated by the Warriors (12-2-2) for the second straight year.
Also in Class 3A, the 10th-seeded Scouts (12-8) lost at seventh-seeded York Suburban 4-2 in PKs after a scoreless 110 minutes. The Trojans are 11-4-2.
In Class 2A, the ninth-seeded Bullets lost to eighth-seeded Lancaster Catholic 5-4 in penalty kicks after neither team was able to score.
Brandywine (13-7) was making its first appearance in districts since 2011. Lancaster Catholic is 12-6.
