Two Berks soccer teams will play quarterfinal games Thursday in the District 3 playoffs.
In Class 3A boys, No. 4 seed Fleetwood (16-5) will host fifth-seeded Lower Dauphin (10-7-2) at 7 p.m. The Berks champion Tigers defeated Garden Spot 5-2 in the first round on Monday, while the Falcons beat Cocalico 3-2 in penalty kicks.
In Class 3A girls, No. 7 seed Daniel Boone (14-6) will play second-seeded Elco (14-3) in the quarterfinals at Cedar Crest at 7 p.m. The Blazers beat Palmyra 5-4 in the first round on Monday, while the Raiders defeated Susquehannock 6-0.
