Dayspring Homes proudly welcomed over 50 guests to a special open house and house blessing ceremony at its Harry Avenue residence on Tuesday, July 29. The event marked more than the unveiling of a restored home — it was a deeply meaningful celebration of resilience, community, and renewal.
The home, which had previously suffered significant fire damage, has been beautifully rebuilt with the help of Dayspring’s dedicated team, volunteers, and community partners. The occasion provided attendees the chance to tour the revitalized home, connect with staff, and reflect on the organization’s mission to provide safe, supportive housing for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Stacy Grube, CEO of Dayspring Homes, shared these heartfelt words during the event: “Thank you so much for being here today. This is more than just an open house or a welcome — it’s a celebration of resilience, community, and restoration. Not long ago, this house stood in ashes — a painful reminder of loss. But today, it stands as a powerful symbol of hope and healing.
