Abby Misiolek scored 18 points to lead Lower Dauphin to a 42-40 win over Conrad Weiser in the seventh place game in the District 3 Class 5A girls basketball playoffs on Wednesday night.
The Scouts (17-9) finish in the eighth place in the districts, but qualified for the PIAA tournament because District 3 places eight teams in the state playoffs in Class 5A.
Conrad Weiser will open play against the District 7 champion in the opening round on Saturday, March 8.
For the Scouts against Lower Dauphin, Alex Trevena had 11 points.
Lower Dauphin will play the District 7 runnerup in the first round.

Berks Catholic plays Eastern York for title
Berks Catholic (19-4) will be going for its third Class 4A title in four years Thursday night when the top-seeded Saints play Eastern York (21-3) at 4:30 p.m. at the Giant Center in Hershey.
Berks Catholic won the title in 2023, beating Fleetwood 73-44 in the championship game. The year before they defeated Middletown 60-37 in the championship game.
The Saints won the 2018 title, beating Bishop McDevitt 46-26 in the championship game.
The Saints also won back-to-back titles in 2013-12 in Class 3A (before the PIAA changed the classifications to six classes).
