District 3 Class 2A swimming: Eisenhofer, Walborn lead Schuylkill Valley to team titles

Schuylkill Valley swept the team titles in the District 3 Class 2A Swimming Championships at Cumberland Valley High School in the two-day meet.

The Panther boys won with 320 points, with Boiling Springs second with 248 points.

The Panther girls took the title with 367, with Boiling Springs second with 292.

Schuylkill Valley’s boys team was led by junior Owen Eisenhofer who won two individual events, setting district records in both, and swam on two winning relays.

Eisenhofer won the 200 freestyle in a new district record time of 1:40.11. He also set a district record in winning the 100 backstroke (49.89).

Aidan Lawson, a sophomore, was the Panthers’ other individual winner, taking the 100 butterfly in 52.97.

The foursome of Eisenhofer, Gabe Martin, Kyle Gao and Hunter Moyer won the 200 medley relay in 1:37.75.

Eisenhofer, Moyer and Lawson teamed with Luke Clark to win the 400 free relay in 3:13.38.

For the Panther girls, sophomore Mabel Walborn won the 200 free (1:53.48) and 500 free (5:02.24).

Walborn teamed with Lily Stubblebine, Nya Solvino and Charleigh Lawson to win the 200 medley relay in 1:51.55.

Kutztown junior Haven Fegley won the 100 backstroke in 1:07.36.
