Twin Valley scored a run in the bottom of the seventh inning and then scored another run in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat Lampeter-Strasburg 3-2 in nine innings in a District 3 Class 5A quarterfinal softball game on Friday.
The third-seeded Raiders (20-3) play the winner of Solanco-Warwick in the semifinals on Tuesday at the site of the higher seed.
Winning pitcher Erin Cromwell went all nine innings, striking out 8 and allowing 8 hits and one earned run.
Molly Krall (2 for 3, 2 runs scored) hit a solo home run for the Raiders, and Emma Hahn went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
