Honey Brook Community Library is expanding.
To better serve the growing community the Honey Brook Community Library embarked on a capital campaign to expand and renovate the library. In 2022 the library received a grant from the office of Sen. Katie Muth allowing the library to double in size. The expansion will provide sufficient room to hold programs and welcome community members into a safe and comfortable environment.
While the grant money helps to provide the funds for the expansion of the physical building additional financial support is needed to bring the project to fruition.
New and improved spaces at the library will include a community/program room and a children and young adult room as well as an adult reading room with a dedicated space for local history. Additional book space and a meeting room are also included in the interior renovation.
Leaving a Legacy
Honey Brook Community Library appreciates its capital campaign donors. A Donor Recognition Tree will be on display in the library to recognize patrons contributing a set donation to the capital campaign. Various colored leaves corresponding to the level of contribution will be available to purchase as well as acorns and doves for larger donors. Each leaf, acorn, and dove will have an engraving option.
