The driver of a pickup truck was killed in a one-vehicle crash Monday in Union Township, state police said.
The crash happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Crusher Road just east of its intersection with Center Road.
State police withheld the driver’s name.
Troopers said the driver, traveling eastbound, lost control while rounding a left curve at a high speed and struck a stone wall then a rock pile. The truck was launched into a tree about 30 feet from the eastbound shoulder.
Emergency responders summoned a coroner upon arrival.
