Election 2023 results: West Reading council

An incumbent and two newcomers won seats on West Reading Borough Council in Tuesday’s election.

A total of five candidates were running for three seats.

All vote totals are incomplete and unofficial.

Newcomer Bethany Bower came in first with 445 votes, followed by incumbent Patrick Kaag. Both Bower and Kaag appeared on ballots as Democrats and Republicans.

Democratic newcomer Zanna Leiendecker also earned a seat on the board with 333 votes.

Republican incumbent Christopher Lincoln fell short with 291 votes, as did independent Tina Shenk with 276.
