The following programs are coming up at the Orwigsburg Free Public Library, 216 W. Independence St.:
• “Update on Cancer” is scheduled for Monday, July 17, at 6 p.m. Topics include screening recommendations, cancer risk factors and treatment advancements. The program is led by Christine Bruce and Kenneth Sherry of Geisinger St. Luke’s
• “Story Time With Belle” is scheduled for Thursday, July 20, at 2 p.m. Hear a story and take a photo with Belle from the Artists in Motion Performing Arts production of “Beauty and the Beast.” Wear a princess costume if you’d like.
• An informational session on solar energy and its benefits will be held Saturday, July 22 at 1 p.m. Bring a copy of your electric bill for a free estimate from Redtail Solar. There will be solar-themed crafts for children.
• A program on 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease is scheduled for Aug. 12 at 1 p.m. Learn about the difference between normal aging and Alzheimer’s disease, common warning signs, the importance or early detection and more. Go to action.alz.org/mtg/595103155 to register.
