Exeter senior Grace Reedy scored the 1,000th point of her career on Monday night.
Reedy, a guard, scored a season-high 34 points to reach the milestone and lead the Eagles to a 63-61 win over Eastern York in a non-league girls basketball game at Reiffton.
Reedy made 11 field goals for Exeter (4-0), including four 3-pointers, and went 8-for-9 at the foul line to bring her career total to 1,006 points. Monday’s performance marked the most Reedy has scored since she had a career-high 35 points in a win over Daniel Boone on Dec. 19, 2022.
Reedy leads the county in scoring average at 26 points per game. She led Berks in scoring average last year at 22.3 points per game and was an All-Berks selection.
