Fightin Phils to have 5 Bark in the Park baseball games in 2024 where dogs will be allowed

The Reading Fightin Phils have announced there will be five Bark in the Park nights at FirstEnergy Stadium in 2024.

The games, all Sundays at 5:15 p.m., are June 9 against Harrisburg, June 30 against Bowie, July 14 against Akron, Aug. 4 against Hartford and Aug. 18 against New Hampshire.

The Minor League affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies is partnering with Humane Pennsylvania to sponsor the nights when fans will be able to bring a dog to the ballpark for $5 in addition to the human’s admission fee. Dogs will have their own seat and have access to drinking water at several sites and a special place for them to relieve themselves.

“Bark in the Park Nights allows us to share our mission within the community, and it gives local families the chance to enjoy a fun-filled, dog-friendly night at the ballpark,” Lauren Pignetti, Humane PA’s director of development, said in a statement.

The Reading Fightin Phils open their home season April 9.
