Five players returned to the Reading Royals on Monday after brief stints in the American Hockey League.
After signing professional tryout contracts with Springfield on Sunday, Jacob Pritchard, Patrick Bajkov, Patrick McNally and Dominic Cormier were released and recalled from their loans by Reading. All four players saw action for the Thunderbirds in their 6-0 loss at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Sunday.
After playing just one game for the Providence Bruins, defenseman David Drake also was released from his professional tryout contract and recalled from loan by the Royals.
