Casey Lynn Dewald scored two goals Tuesday night to help visiting Fleetwood defeat Penn Trafford 4-0 in a Class 2A PIAA Field Hockey Tournament first-round game.
Aliyah Negron and Lauren Breisch also scored to help the District 3 No. 5 seed Tigers (19-5) down the District 7 champion Warriors (16-1).
The victory advances Fleetwood to the quarterfinals on Saturday to face District 3 runner-up Mechanicsburg, a 2-1 winner over Merion Mercy.
Sarah Loeffler had an assist for Fleetwood, which outshot Penn Trafford 17-1. Fleetwood goalie Elizabeth Miller made one save to post the shutout.
