Forino Co. continues its expansion, opens third office

As the company marks enters its 50th year in business, residential and commercial construction company Forino Co. L.P. has recently expanded  into Brunswick, Ga., opening a third office location.

After decades of success and growth in both southeastern Pennsylvania and South Carolina, Forino is now poised for growth along the Interstate 95 corridor, according to Lisa Hermanovich, vice president at Forino.

“Our new office in Brunswick, Ga., aligns with Forino’s long-standing commitment to meeting the growing demand for housing, driven by the construction of the new Hyundai plant and the influx of thousands of new jobs in the region,” she said in a statement.

Tony Forino, CEO and founder of the Sinking Spring-based company, said he sees a tremendous future for the company in Brunswick in Glynn County.

“It is our goal to fully integrate into and be a part of the community. It was a pleasure celebrating our grand opening with community and government officials in early November and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with the community,” he said in a statement.

Forino Co. has multiple commitments that include several key projects for 2025 in the area, along with additional projects in Bulloch County, Ga., according to the company.

“Opening the new office in Georgia is a key part of our strategy to increase our presence in the Savannah and Golden Isle markets and providing localized support as a high quality residential and commercial builder as well as a land developer,” John G. Smith, Forino Co. president, said in a statement.

He added the company plans to hire a director of land acquisition for the company’s southeast division.

Smith said opening the new office in Brunswick represents “both our continued growth and our commitment to serving new communities with the same excellence that has defined our company for five decades.”

The opening of the new location comes just one year after Forino opened a state-of-the-art office building in Hardeeville, S.C. That building is one of five complexes located within Forino Centre along Argent Boulevard in Hardeeville, the company said, and according to Nathan Pletscher, director of business development, is part of the company’s ongoing initiative to invest in modern facilities that reflect the company’s growth and forward-thinking approach to business.

Founded in May 1975, Forino Co. developed a portfolio of residential, multifamily and commercial construction in Pennsylvania and South Carolina. Over the years, the company has built more than 7,600 homes, sold over 1,000 lots and has completed more than 100 communities, the company said.
