A Schuylkill County Harley-Davidson dealership has earned the Harley-Davidson Motor Co.’s prestigious Gold Bar & Shield Award for 2023.
Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson, West Brunswick Township, was officially announced as the winner of the award in February.
The honor is presented annually to dealerships that provide excellence in categories of performance, representation of the brand and customer experience.
Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson earned the award based on its delivery of premium customer experience and for demonstrating operational excellence across the range of categories, the dealership said in a press release.
Only 12 Harley-Davidson Dealerships out of 596 dealers in the United States are recognized for this achievement each year.
The dealership will officially receive its recognition on Wednesday, July 24, in Milwaukee, Wis. as part of the kickoff of the 2024 Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival.
“We’re proud to present this high honor to the Schaeffer Family in recognition of the many ways Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson delivers personal freedom to Harley-Davidson riders day in and day out,” the Harley-Davidson company said in a press release. “Strong, passionate dealers like Carol Schaffer, Denise Schaeffer-Calderone, and Cherie Schaeffer-Bogotuik, who inspire new people to take their first steps toward riding and offer long-time riders the quality service they expect and deserve, are big reasons by Harley-Davidson has been a respected, recognized brand for over 120 years.”
Schaeffer’s Harley-Davidson, 1123 Brick Hill Road, Orwigsburg, has been in business in the Schuylkill County and surrounding areas since 1967.
“We’re very pleased to accept the award, and thank our customers and the community for the support they’ve given to us since 1967,” said Geoff Bogotuik, general manger at Schaeffer Harley-Davidson. “We look forward to more riding in 2024.”
Schaeffer’s Harley Davidson has been recognized for a Bar & Shield award 16 times since its founding.
