High school boys soccer roundup: Van Koch leads Tulpehocken to 4-0 win

Van Koch scored two goals to lead Tulephocken to a 4-0 high school boys soccer victory over Reading High on Monday.

Also for the Trojans (1-1), Connor Hussman and Jackson Hussman also scored goals. Graeson Reese (2), Jackson Hussman and Leshane Christ had assists.

Tulpehocken goalie Logan Coderre made 5 saves.

Gov. Mifflin 2, Ephrata 1, OT

Luke Shepler scored with 20 seconds left in the first overtime to give Gov. Mifflin a 2-1 win over Ephrata on Monday.

Ephrata took a 1-0 lead in the first half on Landon Yang’s goal, assisted by Toby Barrett.

The Mustangs (1-1) tied it in the 36th minute on Ethan Ortega’s goal, assisted by Shepler.

Gov. Mifflin goalie Julian Torres made 8 saves, including a diving save with 5 minutes left in overtime.

Wyomissing 2, Octorara 0

Dami Johnson-Agiri and Nate Flowers each scored to lead Wyomssing to a 2-0 victory over Octorara on Monday.

Luca Stanco and Will Combs each had an assist for the Spartans (1-0). Wyomissing goalie Aleko Zeppos made 4 saves.

Conrad Weiser 4, Central York 1

Abu Barrie scored three goals as Conrad Weiser defeated Central York 4-1 on Monday.

Also for the Scouts (2-0), Luke Callahan scored. Owen Meredith, Owen Hunt and Sebastian Knoll had assists for Weiser.

Scouts’ goalie Dan Heil made 4 saves.

Other scores – Perkiomen Valley 5, Daniel Boone 0. For Boone, goalie Cooper Robison made 6 saves.
