Humane Pennsylvania is celebrating National Adopt A Senior Pet Month by offering all cat and dogs older than 10 to be adopted without an adoption fee during the month of November.
Lancaster Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical will cover the cost of the senior adoption fees at the Berks and Lancaster shelter locations. The Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, and Lancaster Center for Animal Life-Saving, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and adoption hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Available pets can be viewed in person at the shelters or online at humanepa.org/adoption/available-pets/ .

Humane Pennsylvania’s adoptions include a 30-day health supplement, spaying or neutering, vaccinations, flea treatment, microchipping and chip registration, and a 1-pound bag of Science Diet pet food.
