I-78 ramp closures postponed for Lenhartsville bridge project [Updated]

The eastbound on-ramps and off-ramps of the Interstate 78 Lenhartsville interchange, which had been scheduled to be closed at 9 p.m. on weeknights as part of the ongoing major nearby bridge replacement project, have been postponed, PennDOT announced today.

The closure of the ramps at Exit 35 (Route 143) in Greenwich Township was anticipated to start Oct. 7 and continue Oct. 18. The closures would be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. The new dates for the closures have not been announced.

This work was scheduled in preparation for the upcoming detour for the ongoing project to replace the bridge carrying the interstate over Maiden Creek next to the Lenhartsville Bridge replacement project.
