The first of several rounds of snow, sleet, and freezing rain expected to occur this week are in the books.
Snow began falling after 9 p.m. Tuesday. With about a half-inch to 1.5 inches of powdery snow accumulation, most schools have announced a 2-hour delayed opening.

Accumulation totals reported so far by the CoCoRsHS (Community Collaborative: Rain, Hail & Snow) network include 1.2 inches in Lyons, 1.3 inches in southwest Reading and 0.7 inches in Mohrsville.
No major crashes were reported Wednesday morning.
Local and state roads crews have been treating roads throughout the morning, knowing full well they will be at it again this afternoon.
Another winter weather advisory goes into effect from 4 p.m. to midnight.
In this round, in contrast to Tuesday night’s easy-to-remove powder, forecasters say it will come as sleet then freezing rain as temperatures drop in the evening, before changing to rain.

Little accumulation is expected from this afternoon’s storm.
Thursday should see periods of rain with clouds giving way to some sun in the afternoon.
Friday is expected to be sunny and dry, with daytime temperatures reaching the upper 30s.
The next round of precipitation is expected Saturday, with rain and possibly snow. Periods of rain and snow are expected in the evening, according to AccuWeather.
