UPDATE: The crash on Interstate 78 has been cleared as of 5:30 p.m., according to a tweet from 511PA.
Interstate 78 westbound near Hamburg is closed following a noninjury accident Thursday afternoon, according to Berks emergency services.
The highway is closed at mile marker 29.3, and traffic is being diverted at Exit 30 at North Fourth Street in Hamburg.
Drivers are encouraged to find an alternate route if possible.
Further information on the accident was unavailable, and emergency services did not provide an estimate on when the highway would reopen.
The closure is the second on I-78 in northern Berks this week. The highway was closed for 10 hours Tuesday while crews contained a tractor trailer fire and cleared debris from the blaze.
