Letter: Alarming answers from college leaders on antisemitism

Editor:

Neither Claudine Gay nor Liz Magill, presidents of Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania, could say if calling for the genocide of Jews violates their college’s code of conduct. Would publicly calling for the genocide of any other minority in America be tolerated at those colleges? Isn’t genocide worse than using the wrong pronoun?

Perhaps these intellectual elites should stop teaching our children that it’s impossible to tell men from women and that your ethnic identity is more important than the content of your character. Then they’d have time to learn, and teach, the difference between good and evil!

Some news organizations recently got upset that the Israel Defense Forces detained a few Palestinian men in their underwear. Did they forget that one of the 1,200 Israeli citizens the Palestinian terrorists murdered on Oct. 7 reportedly was an innocent baby that they roasted to death in an oven? Just stop for one minute and think about that. Perhaps, in Magill’s words, “It depends on the context.”

As long as these are the people who shape our children’s education and decide what news should be shown to us, I truly fear for America’s future. And for its soul.
