Apparently good news is not profitable. So little is reported about our incredibly low unemployment numbers, how gas prices continue to go down and how infrastructure improvement is actually happening. Manufacturing and wages are up, and the stock market is doing just fine.
One area that must be addressed is the situation at our southern border. Recently Republican legislators traveled there. They offered no solutions and proposed no constructive legislation. Taxpayers should be outraged realizing they are paying for pure political stunts. It is a sad commentary when one political party holds the other party hostage for pure political gain, and that is exactly what is happening at our southern border.
As for President Joe Biden’s age, it might be prudent to put it into perspective. Take a look at our Supreme Court. Nine unelected justices serving lifetime tenures. Two justices are in their mid-70s and two are approaching the age of 70. After a maximum of eight years our presidents leave office. But Supreme Court justices just might be making decisions that affect our everyday lives when they are 90 or even 100.
