Thank you for your May 18 editorial (“Drive safely to enjoy the rites of spring”). It contains reminders that we all need to hear with regard to our responsibility on the roads today.
Wouldn’t it be great if next year at this time it can be reported that there was a decrease in accidents and fatalities?
It is all about common sense, staying alert, and defensive driving.
When we get into our vehicles to go somewhere, let’s do our best to return home safely while being aware that those around us are doing the same thing.
Distracted and impaired driving kills. We must put safety first.
