Former President Donald Trump has expressed great admiration for dictators past and present. Is this what the American people want?
The Republican Party is already taking freedoms from the American people. Women are losing the right to make decisions regarding their own bodies and are being denied medical decisions that no one, other than the individual, should be making. They are also making it more and more difficult for people to vote. Is this the America you want? Not me.
Trump wants to eliminate the checks and balances written into our Constitution if he is reelected to the presidency. Do you want a dictatorship in this country? I don’t. I want the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution. Things are far from perfect in this great country of ours, but they are far better than in other countries.
I want to be able to read the books I want to read, not the books I am told I can read. I want my grandchildren to learn the true history of the United States, not just what politicians want them to learn.
Give this some deep thought.
